That's what I thought as well as soon as I saw it, so I did a Google for Australian Finch, it was one of the first images to show up. (Jizz or giss is the overall impression or appearance of a bird)

No hide fooj, I just followed him/her around, Apparently it is called a White Faced Heron

What a cracking set Denis.  Really like all of them but I just love little Wrens.  We get an occasional one in the garden but they are not common around here.  Lovely shots.

I even got one Gurning John....he looks a defiant little thing like this, his beak is there, its just the angle the shot was taken :)
