Why i chose the D500, Goose landing

Possibly other makes would have done the same but i am a Nikon fan,12 shots in one burst none missing with refocusing all the way.

Great sequence but no. 10 and the last one are beauties.  How does something  with such a bulky cross section get airborne.  Amazing.

I’ll have to try the XT 3 with the appropriate setting for that ... I may have to get the grandson running towards me though rather than wait for a mallard or goose to come in to  land on the pond !  Really good sequence of images though Mike . How many frames per second was that  then ...?

Impressive camera. I’m also a Nikon owner and considering upgrading my 7100 so I’ll check out the D500.
