CANARIAN BLOOD MOON

Recommended Posts

The recent Super moon as shot  from Fuerteventura in the Canaries.

Angle of shooting was almost vertical meaning no opportunity to include any surroundings and I struggled a little with lens creep so had to up the iso for a faster shutter speed.

Early evening around 8pm

Now that is a super set Colin, I was up letting the cat out at 3:10 UK time and it was like that, but not knowing how to shoot the moon I missed the chance to have a go of capturing it. Even if I did it would never have looked as good as this...Superb :)

I love the moon I love the canaries. I love the stars and the moon. Great images. Now u need to tell me where u were staying.

My wife and I stay in Corralejo on Furteventura, been going there since the late 90's and it is a little bit like a second home. Where do you stay Chrissy ?

I usually go to Tenerife or Lanzarote. I have a few quite 'select' (this doesn't mean posh and expensive) little properties I like to rent. I rarely pay more than £150 a week either and the car hire is very decent too via Auto Reisen. No hidden costs unlike most companies. I choose properties away from the resorts and as near to traditional Canarian living as I can usually in a little village higher up but where its still warm. Happy to pass on my Canarian knowledge if anyone is interested.
