Pics From My Birthday Present

Recommended Posts

My eldest son brought me for my birthday a remote wireless trigger for my camera,so I had to try it out today.:)

Put a hole in a log and baited it with dried meal worms (like honey to a bear with the two resident robins) and set the camera and wireless remote up on a tripod, aperture priority and auto iso, and just waited it did not take long before they came. :).

There were a lot of misses but I got a few keepers.

Olympus E-M5 and 75-300mm all at ISO 2000

Yep, #1 for me too. Of all the birds I see I find Robins are those ones who will come closest. I went to Settle today, walking through the Millenium Park a Robin landed about 3ft away and just looked at me like it was expecting food. It did it a few times, flew away and then came back. To be honest I even fogot to take pictures.
