Track day

last weekend I was asked by another photographer to cover a track day for her as she was away with her mum.

you are all used to me posting motorsport but not usually the TWO wheeled variety.   I walked away with 3000 Images, this one is nt technically perfect but I really like this one, you can see where he is aiming his bike by following his eyes.

I'm the first to admit to not being a sport fan or a liker of sporting images.  In fact there is not a single sport I have the remotest interest in, but this photograph certainly captures the sense of speed and control of the machine. So a big well done from me :)

thanks Denis.   i always make sure my shutter seed is slow enough to capture some movement in the wheels, I hate shots where the car/bike looks parked!

I can see why you are pleased with that ...

You’ve been a bit a a stranger  lately on here .. nice to see you back .

like many others we have had some issues at home with Covid, mrs's nan has alzheimer's, so , both in laws and her nan have sold thier houses for a big one so they can all live together, my mrs is now caring for "nan" full time.

It’s affecting so many people and is especially difficult when coping with elderly loved ones who have issues such as Dementia or Alzheimer’s  so I am sorry to hear your situation with your wife’s family ... it’s hard enough to deal with those issues without the added obstacles that the restrictions caused  by the impact of  the pandemic . At the best of times,  buying and selling  houses is fraught with stress and angst  so   I’m glad that has been resolved  and my best wishes to your Missus ....as  a carer she is one of thousands of unsung heroines and heroes looking after the vulnerable in our communities.    It sounds like  you  and your family  have had a lot going on lately ... so appreciate you popping in ...    missed seeing your car pics too !
