Paddling and preening.....

Actually got out for a cruisy ride today. Went over to Boort where we usually see lots of boating activity, but nothing today. However, we did see a very nice paddling and preening meeting which we enjoyed watching for quite a few minutes:

The first two shots are really nice especially the first one love the framing and water ripple.

The first one is a very nice shot ... thoughtfully composed Dee...  nice to see you have had a chance  for some time out with your camera ...

My favourite is the group of pelicans - I really like the different poses and the reflections.

Thank you all, it was nice to get out and find something nice to point the camera at. There are always a few pelicans on Lake Boort but not often in such tidy little groups as we saw these, just lucky!
