The 52 Project - Week 34

A grey Pembroke Castle on a very wet and grey day .. HenryTudor  was born here...(very popular with Lancastrians  )   went on to become Henry VII  after conquering Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth Field and then married Elizabeth of York uniting two factions who  were  previously sworn enemies !!      Masses of history here and a stunning castle ...

By coincidence  my other half was born in Pembroke but left when he was two months old.  So hever had time to develop a taffy twang...

This week certainly did fly past very quickly!!, Sorry for the late picture, but it was taken on Monday as we did our last of this season firewood collection - yes, we're done now until Autumn, but we got another 10 tons.
