  4. Thanks for sharing, BP. I am enjoying these and everyone elses shots from York.
  5. Another lovely set from York. ?
  6. Smashing set, Denis, and so nice to be able to see how the day went.??
  7. That happened to us once when they had put replacement buses on to Birmingham and the driver tried to get under a low bridge at one of the local stations and had to go a different way, which made us two hours late in getting a train to Barmouth for the Country and Western festival. I wasn't impresses as I missed my favourite Welsh country singer who was on first. Spoilt the day completely and they would only give us the fair back for one way because of the delay, and even this came in the form of a voucher which had to be used within a certain time. I was disapointed so I can imagine how you felt missing your whole day out. Make sure that they refund your money, and stick out for money instead of vouchers as I think vouchers is a crafty way of getting out of re-imbersing you properly. There are too many trains etc breaking down these days. You can get a form to fill in.
  8. I hope you weren't delayed too long, Chrissy. It's a good job you got the phone numbers to let the others know that you would be late.
  9. Have a great time everyone. Looking forward to seeing your pics.
  10. A great capture. Well done, RW.
  11. I agree with Kate. This is the best pic of Ollie that I have seen too. Well done, Fuj.

  13. I liked this too, as the framing was out of the ordinary and the flower stands out so nicely. ????????????
  14. I like how the barbed wire is incorporated into the shot, Ron Nice one ??
  15. Hi, and Welcome to a great forum. ?
  16. Good video, Fuj. I was amazed when I first saw the size of the Emerates plane and how such a big heavy thing like that can stay in the air.
  17. Well deserved, phil (and Ginger)
  18. It's a good feeling to get planned computer jobs done, isn't it, Dee. I have kept an old computer with Xp installed and the other old one with windows 7. The older Windows 7 one is so slow these days that it's hardly worth changing to 10, and I don't think it would speed it up at all. I update the newer desktop that I bought last year, and I wouldn't revert back. I hated Windows 8.
  19. I love Windows 10. Apart from the odd annoying things that a lot of people don't like, surely Microsoft are working along the same thing as Apple, who continually upgrade their OS without charging for it. I intalled it on a slow netbook to see how it would work, and It installed well It didn't speed the netbook up much but I was interested to see how it would go. I am saving up for a new laptop and want one with Windows 10 already installed, but after reading how much harddrive is used for software and upgrades, I am going to wait until I can afford one with a large hard drive. HP do a reasonably priced 15" one, £249.00, in their online store, so. I think I will aim for that one. I never used to think in terms of hard drive size and Ram, but I do now as I have learned how much difference it can make.
