  1. Thank you, Cheryl. Yeah, the second one is kind of cluttered maybe I should have shot it wide open to blur the background.
  2. Thank you kindly Andy. I think it was a pretty rough place. It is now slowly being restored.
  3. I think it always has been. It sits on a hill and looks like a big haunted house I used to drive by it quite a bit and every time got a strange feeling like there was some one watching me. they should be starting the haunted Halloween tours soon.
  4. I really like the reflections on the last one.
  5. All are very nice but I am with Paul on the last one.
  6. known as Preston castle, It was a reform school for the worst offenders, Built in northern California in the late 1890s it ran from then until the 1960s
  7. I went inside a 1950s EMD F-7 and a 1991 EMD sd70. at a rail fair years ago. The SD70 is huge compared to even the SD 45s that were common at the time. But those huge heat exchangesrrs on the "mountain " locomotives sure looked cool so did the holstered coupler parts on the wheel trucks.
  8. Love the first one for the color and the second one for the mostly one color
  9. Excellent set, Geoff.
  10. Thank you Andy, Some times it surprises me at how much difference a little thing makes. I don't know how I missed them. just tired I guess.
  11. Nice set, and the best part is you made it there.
  12. Thank you, Andy, I like that one too or that one too. it came out better than expected, I was using the pull out screen at arms length with a unstabilized lens on a cold day. and I was cold.
  13. A step at a time and pretty soon you will get there my friend. nice set, maybe the photography will help to get you out and about.
  14. Thank you, Polly. There is quite a bit of the influence in some areas. I have to get out and photograph some. there are a couple cathedrals I want to capture.
