  1. Sorry for delay, been away for a week ..... it was in appreciation of key workers and the NHS
  2. Not like the bears I'm afraid ..... these were pretty close up together in a roped off area, so people milling around .... when the bears were at Eastside there was a lot more room

After taking shots of the gratitude tribute, a few random pictures around the city The old Municipal Bank, and the New HSBC Building Part of one of the sculptures in Victoria Square Alpha Tower ... I used to work there and it had tremendous views over the city, but not any more after the planners decided to build the HSBC building right up against it Centenary Square and the relatively new fountain area
  6. These were set up in Victoria Square in the city as a tribute to key workers and NHS workers They were only there for a few days and photographing them was very difficult because of all the people there Heres a few of them anyway
  7. Welcome to the site, I'm not too far away from you and am regularly involved in organising photo meets in Birmingham. Definitely not a professional but have had a book documenting Birmingham in images published.
  8. Im not sure why it was standing empty either, there was no indication that building was going to take place there Ive been to HK a number of times on business, this time just transiting - the place has changed, I dont think I'll be going again

  10. Personal matters have kept me away, hence little posted or commented on Managed a trip out to Chasewater at the weekend

Unfortunately I had to climb down off the road onto a small shingle beach by the mouth of a stream and was very limited as to the angle I could safely get - having said that, it was the tree that I wanted to catch and it was just a shame the wind was rippling the water otherwise I would have got a great reflection
  12. Went to Pistyll Rhaeadr actually, but got better shots at the lake Went to the "other" end away from the Dam

  17. Yes, you can only make bookings there now, for first thing in the morning or midday. They close at 5 but we still didnt have time to get around everything in 5 hours
