  1. I actually joined a camera club near my new abode and this was a trip I took with them over the weekend Last time I went there it was incredibly muddy, but thankfully this time we were able to see all the hulks
  2. I found myself in a £500 a night balcony suite at the top of the iconic Rotunda in Birmingham City Centre. Luckily I wasnt paying for it, courtesy of a kind contact. Very challenging as extremely windy and cold on the 20th floor but I did my best even with a bit of blown brightness in the fourth one
  3. No I haven't, although I have seen some shots of them in monochrome and they were quite good
  4. Thank you all, only just saw this
  5. Nice, as I said on the other thread I love street art. In Birmingham, a local city, there is a whole district which has them all over the place and every year the have a festival where you can watch the artists creating new ones
  6. I love California, its such a varied place from the mountains and valleys to the east to the highway one and its towns to the west. That was taken from a road, or were you hiking?
  7. I would love to go back, but the journey is horrendous. On the way we stopped at Hong Kong for an overnight and because we were heading for our holiday I guess the journey was bearable. However on the way back we flew from Christchurch to Auckland, then Auckland to Hong Kong (overnight stay again) but the final leg was horrible. I suffer from RLS and the last 4 hours were unbearable and I spent most of it walking around the cabin
  8. Going through old images of New Zealand and found two more to process. Te Anau was one of my favourite stops as it was the entrance to a wonderful drive to Milford Sound. The second is of Fiordland taken from an island in Te Anau lake
  9. Some images of my trip to Whitby last year Seems a long time ago
  10. Welcome to the forum, glad you got here
  11. Nice set, I think #1 my favourite as like the composition too
  12. Tend to forget its winter in Australia Nice misty effect too
  13. Very nice, like the composition on #1 and the misty clouds make it I never expect too many sunny days in Scotland
