I think my favourite is the interior shot with Elvis hanging from the mirror.

 

I spotted one of these in San Francisco and took some shots of the back wings - a really lovely car and very desirable in its time.

Oh my....that is one big car! we passed one in Cambridge the other day.

 

Love these pictures Colin. I have taken loads of pictures of old cars as different events, all useless unlike yours. I can never get a whole one in without people or I seem to have loads of reflections.

I had a 1963 2 door Chevrolet Bel Air when I was eighteen, not as stylish as your photo example though Colin.

 

 it had a 3.8 litre straight six  so was not bad to run......at  3s and 6d a gallon..thats about 17p a gallon, not a litre..a gallon!

They are a great thing - theres one in Whitby in black and purple, on airbags last time I saw it, with the legend "the dark is afraid of me" on the boot, a superb Gothmobile :-)
