neath canal cycle ride

had a week off work and decided to go on a cycle ride up the neath canal  with my ex girlfriend

That looks a really pretty walk Rybear   though  it looks a bit close to that canal to be riding a bicycle ....especially on slippery Autumn leaves !!! That looks an impressive  Bicycle too ... and I am chuffed that you are continuing with your determination to get out and about more .. You must be feeling  pleased  too...  keep it going  and  don't forget to post  your  pics ... I shall be chasing you  young man   ... You have plenty of fabulous places  near you  of outstanding beauty  so  please share some more  pics with us  !

Ive just been taking part in Birmingham Grid where loads of photographers have to choose a path or road in a grid thats provided and take 8 shots of the journey along it.  Much like you've done. Theres one taking place up in Yorkshire somewhere at the same time

That’s an interesting concept Strav … maybe we could use a similar idea on here for people to do something like that in their area and  link it on a map  to show where it is … Is anyone else up for that …?

Yeah. Maybe a Spring walk or drive  with a pictorial timeline and a map reference .. sounds a challenge  we might all be able to do  walking or driving ...   on our way to the shops, down to a canal  or river   a  walk or drive  we do regularly or a completely new  venture . I'm up for  it ... A Pictorial Journey from ? to ?. As Fogey says ....as soon as weather permits.

For sure, I'll post my set up sometime .... some aren't tremendously interesting though, they just tell a story

there is a small road near me ...a lifetime of memories and stories on a stretch of road about 3 miles long ..i get some pics done when i'm out on the ebike down there next
