Hazel's Didcot Railway Centre

Fabulous   pics Hazel ... If I can suggest when  you are making posts with multiple images Andy , that you leave more space between them as  it stops me being able to see  each image  without  the next  one being  partially in view and distracts  from  each image as a single entity ...

The viewpoints really emphasises the  monsters that these  engines  really were ..  Presumably you have an articulated screen   on your camera Hazel ....  or  very  supple knees  !😂

Yep definitely some different angles, which you can't usually get on most heritage railways....

Yes Didcot is special in that the working trains are on 2 separate fenced off lines, so you are free to wander around the rest of the yard and sheds, apart from the main repair area for safety reasons. This is what allows some interesting and very upclose angles.

Hi all thank you for your kind comments on my photos. I was going for something different rather than here's a photo of an engine and another one etc.

Clicker, in answer to your questions it is no and no. My camera has no articulated screen and my knees are shot. However I have just purchased a sturdy Manfrotto Monopod 😁😁😁

Hazel.

Ps Andy said he will leave a double line space next time.
