So after weeks of checking she was OK, my Pholcus phalangioides has finally slimmed down!!!

She has her eggs!

She will carry these eggs in front of her until they hatch out. The newly yolk-filled eggs are white, and as they mature, they become dark towards the end of the abdomen. Within a month or so (meaning I have a lot of checking on her still to do...) these will hatch into gorgeous little translucent spiderlings which will remain close to the mother until after their first moult.
