The Spider and the Fly.

I took the Macro lens out for the first time this year, inspired by Paul's amazing Macros.

Harrumph!

The spider was shade less than the size of a match head and she was busy building/repairing her web.  How she managed that is totally beyond me as she was being blown about in the wind like nobody's business.

For her size, it must have been like being in a force 12 gale.  For me it was a gentle breeze, which made keeping her in the focal plane nigh on impossible.

The fly was being shy in the Beech hedge................

Yeah - the wind is often a killer when doing macro - that 2 or 3mm you have does test your focusing, but well done for getting the shot.

That "fly being shy" is actually a male miner bee!

Paul.
