POTW week ending 9/2/2014

Well, there was a late late rush of superb shots, many of them action shots, making my choice much more difficult. There was Bugs's boy-with-wet-wellies, not to mention his and Jeremy's canoeists. Who could ignore Annie's incoming magpie? Festcu's great shot (was it the third one?) of the bridge with its wonderful geometry. And of course Fuji's wonderful smiling 'bread and cakes' lady.

 

In the end though, there were three that for me stood above even these. Annie's 'Emergency stop', a wonderful and unforgettable capture, and Creativesnap's great study of 'Annie' (no relation!!), either of which could have been POTW in another week.

 

But this one I kept coming back to, and so it is my Picture Of The Week. Fuji's "Uncle"..
