Polly...  I have tried so many times to post the image I have lost count, the forum was out of action earlier for about 10-15 minutes. I just tried again and I still can't post the image.

I'm also having the same problem. The error I get is:

Image could not be saved. The file could not be written to disk. The storage folder may not exist, or may not have the correct permissions to be written to.

Also when creating a new post or replying the option to link an external image seems to be missing. I've messaged Phil about the problem.

Ok It would not let me take it from your pbase site as I don't have permission so  can  go to your pbase site  and select the file  , rtight click on it , use the option save it as , then go to a file on your hard drive where you keep your photos, and save it as a jpg  there ... then try uploading from there .. ...see if that works . I cannot see why it wont upload if you are doing what you usually do to upload a pic  ..although it looks as if the image is in  png format.as opposed to jpg ..

Hi Rye ...SORRY our posts  crossed in the post so to speak... . If john is using his pbase  site to upload from I have suggested he tries to save it back to his harddrive as a jpeg  though I imagine he already has it there .

Where did you try to upload the file from John ...?
