This little Shitzu, belongs to an old student of mine, we often we often stand and chat for a while....the other day her little pooch sat in a pool of dappled sunlight....this is one of three carefully framed studies I made.

You all know that I am a cat person....but, I must admit that this little pooch has bags of character:

A cute dog in pool of dappled sunlight - sure to get some ooohs and aaaahs from the doggie lovers. Even I think he's cute.

But the real test is... would I share my custard creams with him? No!

I think it needs a little more darkening around the top bit - looks a a tad blotchy on my telly.

That a brilliant shot, Fuji.

I would share my custard creams with him any day. In fact, when all of my ferrets have gone with old age then I may be thinking of adopting a small rescue dog.

Mainly because we have to have a door across our living room door to make sure that the ferrets don't get out and sneak through an open main door, and we aren't getting any younger so might find it a problem stepping over the board in a few years time.
I love my ferrets but have to be realistic as we get older.

That's an appealing critter :)

(Just lose the little bit of blue at the top of the frame please)

Ah Ha!...that is part of his lead.......didn't use the crop tool correctly....must do better next time:
