We have green.......

Had a rainy 24 hours Friday/Saturday and we got another 26ml of welcome rain - our dam is almost overflowing and our house tanks are! The additional rain has added to some nice green grass growth and our usual visitors are very pleased. Caught this medium size one just outside the back door in the bird feeding area this morning, and enjoying the munchies:

Nice, love #2 and #3 you have caught a lovely facial expression in both shots.

Re green and the rain one of my favorite sayings picked up in Ireland from a farmer where it does rain from time to time. "You dont get so many shades of green without a drop of rain."
Some of his other sayings and phrases unfortunately I can not use.

Thank you sjr, John & Rye, once again not the most perfect shot because the window was slightly steamed over, but if I had tried to wipe it she would have been gone! Yes, the expression was nice. In #2 she was looking right and watching more 'roos down the block near the dam, in the last one she was looking to see if any more were coming in from the left, there weren't and she continued to enjoy the munchies for a while.
