Walking to the Albert Dock area  I came across these padlocks on a set of chain rails ... a symbol  of couples' undying devotion to one another  no doubt ... I've seen them on bridges in Paris and Rome  and  part of me really hopes they are all still together ... Apparently in some places the weight of the padlocks has been so much that the  council have  removed them to  prevent  damage  to bridges and  railings ....

I saw him in the distance  while I was taking some closeup pics of the locks John  ...and when he saw me he stopped,  thinking he was in the way of my shot   so I just  replied that he was the star of the show.
;)

So with  typical Scouser  humour   he yelled back that   the last time he had been filmed with keys and padlocks ,  it was cctv and he was wearing a stripey jersey and was wearing  mask !!

I had quite a lot to play with Gareth   ...I was trying to keep the chain on the left  manipulated so that it started in the top left corner ...  I'll have a look and see if i can afford to lift it a bit more  ... good point  though ..
