Hi Alphaboo... Looks very surreal that does ... Is it a composite? Looks like you inhabit a beautiful part. of the country too..:91_thumbsup:

Welcome to the  forum as well ... I see this is your first post too. If you get the chance pop over to the welcome Forum, introduce yourself and tell us a bit more about what sort of stuff floats your boat and bit about yourself ... We are a sociable bunch on here and  are always keen  to broaden our knowledge and  learn from each other and help if we can ... the glue that binds us  is a common love of photography  in all it's various guises  so join in whenever you can with chat, banter,  comments, advice and of course more images ... if you need any help just yell ... there's nearly always someone in the vicinity.:yes

Thank you guys for your very kind comments, it was a long exposure single image taken earlier in the year at a very photographed location near me.  The heavy rain had led to a lot of water running down the valley which cut an interesting  path out to sea. This left me with a different composition than those I have seen from here before.  Another I took on the day won an award at a local gallery but this was my favourite :12_slight_smile: .  Thank you for the welcome I will find time to visit and enjoy other folks work.

Thanks Tony :)... the only reason I thought it might have been a composite was the most unusual sharp edges  made by the sand... one can see a long exposure has been utilised to great effect ... it certainly adds to the surreal feel to the image ..  do  post some more ...  the one that you won an award with would be a good start ...I'm intrigued as you prefer the one you have posted .... Did you enter them both ?
