This was taken at the Parc des Oiseaux in Villars-lès-Dombes to the north east of Lyon.

A bit of useless information. In the early '90s, I cycled through Lyon. Beautiful city!

Cheers Brian. The 7d is useful for this kind of shot.

Lyon is beautiful. I love the place and not too far from where Françoise was born. She studied at the university in Lyon too. I have a very good guide when we visit.

That works brilliantly well, Kev. Love it.

At first I though there was a little too much negative space, but after a good, long gawp I've come to the conclusion that it's just about spot-on.
