Nice clean shot John

I arnt so keen on them, they live close to the deck and when I eventually get down there among the undergrowth some minute thing usually takes a lump out of me somewhere

I sometimes get some strange looks when I'm down on my knees or lying in the weeds, as soon as you show the folk what you have been photographing everything changes and you are not weird anymore...

If my knees bent half as good as that cricket, I would think about getting low down and trying a shot like that meself.

Unfortunately i would be down there until a passing stranger helped me back up!

It worked very nicely. :)

It took me a while to tame the flash but most of the time I'm happy now. Just a matter of getting flash exposure compensation & exposure compensation on the camera correct... trial and error.
