POTW - w/e 5/6/2016

Lots of great images to browse through this week, but one thing I like about choosing potw is that I can go with something that I personally really like, and keep going back to for another look, and that is what I have done for this week. I am always fascinated by the re-enactment pictures that come on here, perhaps because we don't get to see many events like that, and I loved this set by Ryewolf. The mono presentation is perfect for the subject, and there are not too many 'modern bits' to distract from the action. I love the look of concentration on this guy's face, and the sense of movement captured, so I have gone for this one, but I loved the whole set.

Well done Ryewolf - the original thread can be seen here: http://www.tipf.co.uk/forums/topic/14183-battle-of-rossendorf-2016/

Thanks Kev and Kibione, I don't often get chance to photograph people, but we do have a good selection in my local area of battle re-enactments that occur. I've tried these in colour and they just don't work - the only thing I did clone out was the tv aerials on the 4 houses.and a slight crop for the framing.
