We were both in the doorway to a photographic Exhibition in the local library, me leaving and him entering; I know him slightly so knew he wouldn't mind stopping for a moment in the light of the doorway, the interior was relatively dark:

Nowt wrong with the processing of his right eye, he must have a cataract;

I don't often reply in this forum, mainly because I do so little 'people' photo's, but there are a few that instantly stand out and this is one of them, reminds me very much of my grandfather and father in the way they dress, shirt, tie, jacket - except for the hat. There's a lot of character in the face. Well spotted.

A smashing portrait, Fooj. I just love the quiet dignity of his dress and his expression.

Nicely processed, too - although there seems to be a slight halo over the top of the cap. A bit more burning required perhaps?

Very nice work all the same.
