10 weeks to go......

Retirement is now officially on the horizon from my fitness leader jobs, and only 10 more weeks to go. I got a nice surprise at the get together day today, a lovely 'thank you' for my services from my boss, along with a lovely appreciation certificate for my 10 years of involvement, and a beautiful bouquet:

It is a rationalization move so that David and I can get out there and enjoy some stuff while we can, without my work commitments. I won't be bored - won't have time!! I will still be fairly active in fitness groups as a participant, and I have started on a reclamation project for my garden.

Now my busy day is over I can relax a bit -  sherry time me'thinks.

Well done Dee!

Now is the time for a bit of YOU time, time to wander, time to dream, time to watch and listen, time to re-set your body clock to a personal time zone.....I'm sure that David and your pooches will fill in the rest?

Congrats on your forthcoming retirement Dee !

I expect we will see a lot more from you from then on, especially with all of that wide open place to photograph :)

I'm rather envious of others who a very soon to retire or have already done so. I still have three years to wait providing I get past my own personal D-Day.

I hate to wish time away but it cannot come quick enough

Thanks for the nice wishes and comments, nothing 'special' worked out as yet.

We are going to have to work on getting to some different places for photography, as our surroundings are too 'dessertish' now, and the only wildlife stuff we have is 'roos eating the hay we put out for them each evening, (as well as literally anything that is green in the remains of my garden), and the little birds on our bird bath each day. Thought they might be a bit boring for you all by now!

Officially 'signed off', as of today from Bendigo Rural Health. Only tomorrow morning and Thursday morning to do more sessions for Inglewood District Health, and 20 individual client handovers, then I'm off!! It has been a very busy couple of weeks with quite a lot of time consuming stuff to be done as preparation for handover of the clients, (well friends, really), and exercise sessions. Should be able to be around a bit more in a few days - sorry for my lack of input for a little while.
