POTW - w/e 3/4/2016

Not only does this image show an awareness of a great abstract pattern seen in something quite ordinary, but then enhanced by some imaginative processing. Kind of 'Mondrian with angles'! Polly's work.

Well that was all a bit of a SURPRISE !...Thank you Chris .....  and all you Tipfers  for your  very nice comments ... I am thoroughly chuffed   and special thanks to Chris  for  choosing it  and Judy  who  maybe doesn't realise it , inspired me  to revist and re process someof my abstract files from the past,  with some of  her reflection abstracts.

It was taken with my old SONY f717 cybershot... which has a lovely Karl Zeiss lens (I use theirs for my specs too )   I thought it had potential when I took the shot but  hadn't tried the colour and brush strokses till the other week . Here is a frame sooc and just cropped  from the same time ... actually it was 2007  not 2012 which was a date  I'd accessed it  for editing once before. It gives a better idea of what the porch roof looked like....for those that are interested .. Thanks again  for   the  comments  folks ...You lot are a nice bunch ...

Yup... I thought about it too after and double checked.. It was  the time we were comparing notes on eye pressure  as I recall..Anyway ...thanks ... for all the things  you have helped me with  over the past ten years ...

 

BTW ...Still having some probs with my pooter ... seems to have a mind of t's own ... it's in the middle of a scan atm doh..
