The Weekly Challenge #36 is now open for entries acceptable from midnight Friday 26th February until midnight Friday 4th March, and voting will be set up from midnight Friday 4th March. until midnight Friday 11th March.

Old or new images are eligible, and the subject is 'On a Shelf' - doesn't matter what the item is - it could be a bird, a moggie, flowers, vases whatever -I really enjoy the post processing that some of us can come up with, and thought this subject may give some nice opportunities.

Please put chat and discussion in The Weekly Challenge discussion Thread and more information is available in: The Weekly Challenge, How It Works.

OK - lets have some fun :D

Voting now closed - thanks for a nice variety of pictures again.

Clear winner in this one is Chrissy, with her 'long forgotten' - a lovely rather poignant picture. Well done Chrissy - over to you!!

I experimented with some directional lighting, making a cone to fit over my little mini studio light. I liked the effect. I really wanted it so that light from an open door shone on him but failed miserably.

Sorry all for the unimaginative theme for next week. I was poorly yesterday and could hardly drag myself out of bed toset it. Feeling a bit better today though.
