That really works  for me Denis ... All three are nicely composed too ..,  really good set ...  Hope to see more from you Denis ... It's always good to  try  other stuff . I'm going to be well out of my comfort zone later this year   ... Taking photos of  racing cars  doing ridiculous speeds   ... I shall be needing a lot of advice I think .... ;)

Colin and Leon spring to mind regarding that type of Photography. I would post more if I managed to have a bit more time, Work is long and retirement a painfully long three years away yet!

Thanks Denis ... I shall give Colin a shout as we have spoken on the phone and I have bought some cracking prints from him that are in the process of being framed (Lancasters and Spitfires )  Leon doesn't come on very often though does he ...  When you do retire then Denis ... at least you wont be one of those people who say  they wish they had a hobby  to fill in the time ...Most of us OAPS wonder where we ever found the time to work ....  It is surprising though just what shots you can get if you always take a camera out with you ... even to work .. By the way  do you have access to Photoshop  in any of its forms?  The more I look at the first  pic ... the more I like it ..  The tips Bill gave  are certainly paying off ... composition  is very nice indeed  :yes

Well done with this Denis - I'm in the same boat - not really a mono poster, but I love to look at, and the look of mono shots we get on here. I would like to have a dabble too, but I find suitable subjects a bit hard to find.

Love the first one, Denis :D
