An old one from two years ago, but nothing to do but look through old images of mine and play about a little with them.I dont tend to do a lot of monochrome..if any.. but I liked the scene.

I like how the sculpture seems to blend in with the cranes - they look as if they could all be part of the artwork.

There seems to be some detail in the sky and I wonder if this could have been brought out to make the image more dramatic.

I like this  Denis ... If you still have a copy of the original  one posted (I had a look earlier  before it was replaced) you could still rep-post it by editing the first post so that the difference can be seen. I like the work you've done to bring the sky up on the edit too .... If you didn't keep a copy  of that first one .... I have a copy ! I downloaded it as I liked it, with a view to try and twiddle ( Korky's  word ) the sky when I got the chance... Looks like you beat me to it;)  Nice one.

The sky is certainly better and makes the image more dramatic - but (on my laptop, anyways) it seems a little flat as a result.

Any chance you can post the original, Denis? It'd be nice to see what other mono buffs can do with it.
