This weeks challenge invites you to take a photograph that shows people at work. Any kind of job so long as it's something you can make a living from (yes, you can include the oldest profession in the world, if you dare)!

Any interpretation, and post production allowed. So start looking for people working.

Photo to be taken and uploaded by midnight Monday 14 August 2015t. Voting from Tuesday until midnight Friday 18 September - Winner announced Saturday 19 September.

Don't forget to add a title and the date/ time that the image was taken. So get out there and hunt some workmen/women

Working The Forest and Riverbank (one for the ladies......) Taken Monday 7 Sept 2015 - This guy (one of my bosses, aren't I lucky?) is actually chopping then stripping willow, to 'bank up' the riverside to prevent erosion. This is called 'Spilling'. This is an area where salmon have recently been introduced and as a team build, we were helping clear the riverbank and 'spilling' it. Part of the Governments Community 10,000 initiative.

The clue is in the name:Challenge, as well as being an intersting experiment, it also should challenge us as photogrhers to go out there and do something that we wouldn't normally do. I've enoyed the challanges so far and taking part. Long may they continue. I hope it isnt flagging , but rather some challanges are more difficult to complete than others.

Congratulation, RW

A massive apologies from me, I've had a few personal problems that have kept me away for the last 2 weeks, should be getting back to normal now.

The Weekly comps are an excellent idea, members are forced into thinking outside the box due to the time constraints. This particular theme was difficult one in that you would need to specifically go out looking for 'Men at Work'.

Chris, the Auto comps will return, I'm just waiting for the software developer to get back to me with a compatible version.

Thanks Phil, Kev and Kobione, I wanted to be a steam train driver when I was young... Portraits and people aren't one of my strongpoints, I;ll admit that, but I'll give anything a go. I may have said this before, but I've really enjoyed the weekly challenges, it gives you something to focus on - a particular subject matter. I;ve been to 6 places loking for the right image for the Public Art Challange and I just love it....
