First, an apology to all the bug shooters here - the season has well and truly started judging by this week's crop, including a whole range of spectacular ladybirds, and particularly Annie's wonderful water walker. However, bugs are not my 'thing', so although I'm in awe of the technical achievements, I haven't gone for one of these.

 

Nor, staying in the macro world, did I go for Paul's  wonderful water-drop reflection shot though it was tempting. Among the rest, I narrowed it down to these three :

And it was this last one, Barbara's beautiful Japanese peony, that I decided was my Picture of the Week.
