Well David ... I have to say there are sometimes advantages to being cautious and I know the pitfalls of being too impetuous too.... BUT thirty years!!!!! ... 😲

That makes me and my habit of occasional procrastination, look  positively expeditious in comparison !🤫🤣

 It looks like a great expanse of brickwork however ... #2  for me  as I like seeing the  brickwork  textures and colours more ... Did you take any head on to the arches, to try a symmetrical  look too .....?

Thanks, Polly you made me smile. I agree about No 2 - it's my favourite too. No, I didn't go up top, thought I would leave that for another 30 years.....can't go rushing into these things.
