first ever kingfisher

went with a friend to cilgerran park and saw my first ever kingfisher :) it was a bit over cast and i really struggled to get my shutter speed up ....over 800 iso and the images were unusable..i think for wildlife this 150-500 lens it needs to be  a bright sunny day...they not the sharpest but i'm happy with them as its my first ever one ...

They are difficult to catch, yours is a female  - you can tell by the red/pink on the lower beak.

I have a similar problem with the Sigma 150-600
