Thank you all for the comments. We are currently in our 'desert mode' we are so dry. Nearly all of our natural grass has gone and the 'roos are getting a bit desperate, so we got a bale of hay and put out three small piles each afternoon - and this does help to keep them from any decent garden plants.

John, these are what we refer to as 'our regulars', probably born and raised in this area and they are very used to seeing us around, and we are not classified as a 'threat'. Our dogs are used to seeing them and do not chase them, and the 'roos just sit and watch as we move around. This one was only 10ft away from our back door. Also we are seen as a regular water supply spot, which has been very important this last hot Summer.

Jacqui the only time we have to be careful is in breeding season when the 'big boys' can be a bit testy if you come across them unexpectedly. We're used to it, so no probs for us.

Guess there are going to be a few more 'roo shots over the next week or so - don't get bored!
