That last one looks like it's doing a Eddie the Eagle ski jump... I don't get many birds visiting my yard for the worms I put out, except Pied Wagtails and Magpies. I felt sorry for the Pied Wagtail as the snow was so deep it would have been up to it's eyeballs, so I flattened down the snow around the worms. The Magpies are funny, they just bounce around and start digging in the snow, they are very skittish so fly off if I as much twitch the voile nets on my window. The Wagtail on the other hand just sits around,, sometimes less than 3ft away when I go out to leave more worms. I do talk to it whenever I go out, I think it's the same one that's been coming for the last 4 years....
