  1. Oh I like this, possibly invert it ?? As the path would lend better ?? Just a thought

A nice set, like me I’m into B&W mode, No 3 for me stands out as it just walks the eyes into the shot, Nice !!
  3. Hi Gang, Sorry not been around for a while, but been away with work far too much, so just had a lovely holiday cruising the Carribean and started in Miami, so had a stroll with the Camera as you do, and took this quite early in the Morning with my B&W Head on, Hope you like it
  4. Lots of mood in the sky, but lots of sky too, The horizon is plumb straight, for me with these images I would kneel, lay down on a bin bag and get the horizon in the middle, then we don’t need a person, dog etc, as the symetry takes over
  5. Yep, just yep, again hairs stunning up !!
  6. Think the Colour one needs a bit of processing, just a little too dark in the image, where the colour one does tell a better story
  7. Great Detail, nearing Halloween its nearly spooky, a nice set of images, well worth the days togging
  8. You have the Blacks very deep, its a shame that there is some flare in the clouds, I love visiting the Steam Railways, usually get a line pass so I can put my life at risk getting some images lol
  9. Thats great !! Love it !!
  10. The detail is amazing, the hairs on its legs are like mine seeing this image :-0
  11. Yep, works for me, reads really well, and the subject gives a good perspective
  12. Great to see you back mate, and its just what the doctor ordered, a new task with the camera, gets you out in the fresh air walking, and stopping, having a coffee or 10 if your like me, any reason to take the camera out is just awesome, the images all tell stories, thats what its all about, enjoy you new found energy, and keep safe young man :-)
  13. To get any insect to stay still, especially if Autofocus switched on at any time ( as they seem to hate Ultrasonic ) is amazing at any time, again Yuk but a great set
  14. Great Timing, The B&W conversion does lack some punch, but cant fault the timing
  15. In the 1st Image, was there a party lol, pic right lots of People, It does lack a focal point, Landscape is sometimes hard to get right, Image 2 reads much better, but lacks that punch, possibly just in some post processing, Image 2 for me I could spend days there getting the image right, Really an Interesting place to togg :-)
  16. 1st Image for me needs a bit more contrast, but the sky is awesome to the feel of the image, the 2nd image, for me, the wall is taking you away from the focal point, don’t get me wrong its a great use of Aperture, just not sure the Green in the field adds anything
  17. Love it !! Very slight flare on the Lilly’s
  18. Both images are great, would like to see the second one in B&W
  19. I know we should never ask to re compose, as usually its because of a car, lamp post etc, but the church in full would be a great shot
  20. Again for me, invert the Left and Right, as in Image 1 the first thing that grabs the eye is the bushes, and No 1 needs a tweak here and there as the metering was probably on the sky
  21. Colour one works better, there is nothing to get the shade into Mono or B&W, so a conversion is difficult, Colour head on for this one
  22. Yuk.. But great images, Nice ( Patient ) work
  23. Also, as an addition, with film photography this is something we did all the time, as once the neg is processed, spinning it over in the dark room was the norm… so why not with Digital images, you know its not the image as taken, we don’t
  24. The inversion reads much better, we read from left to right, so we see the same way, the inversion now has the image speaking to me, I love it !!
