  1. as far as im aware if the image is taken in a public place, you have complete copyright of that image to do what you want providing you are not using it to advertise any other product or make it look like the person you photographed is endorsing a product or belief or similar... if you wish to use an image that shows someones face for commercial reasons you must obtain a model release form Other than that you can do what you want with the image.

    Hello

David picture of the week gets picked by one of a panel of people from the pictures posted in the forum over the week, so anything you post in the general forum is up for picture of the week automatically The monthly competition you need to actually post an image into the thread that fits with that months theme hope that helps

Hi Firstly apologies for this being a little later than normal but i was out for an early dinner there have been lots of images posted this week but for me it was a battle of two images from earlier in the week The runner up in the end was Fuji's Vee formation which i loved the abstract nature of The winner this week however , and im confident you will all agree, is Bill's living on the river, posted below. the light was beautifully captured, the scene was serene, and the whole thing just reminded me of a Thomas Kinkade painting, i just cant get enough of it and ive kept going back for another look so congratulations Bill the original thread can be found here

well its that time again and boy have you lot made it hard to pick a winner there have been some terrific bug pictures and a fair few very nice landscapes and portraits. special mention goes to Blackrox milky waterfall which i thought was beautiful and also to Kev with his York Alley which had some great textures in it but overall there has been one picture i have gone back to time and time again this week, i just love the abstract nature of it and the way the droplets of water seem to be almost 3d and pop out the screen at me so my POTW this week is bugs Foggy Web congratulations Bugs the thread can be seen here http://www.tipf.co.uk/index.php/topic/4036-foggy-web/
