  1. Hi, I'm Tom Dullage, I'm an Operations Engineer at Heysham 2 Power Station in Lancashire, about to retire and hopefully have time to improve my photography. I'm currently using Nikon D3200 & D5200 cameras and Sigma 18-250 & 150-500 zoom lenses, mostly for wildlife pictures. Being 5 minutes walk from Half Moon Bay, part of Morecambe Bay, I also get to see some wonderful sunsets, which I hope to do justice to with the camera one day! I'm just contemplating buying a 300 mm prime lens, but wonder if I really need it! I have looked at the Sigma 300 F2.8, and the Nikon 300 F4 & F2.8 lenses. If money was no object, I would rush out and buy the Nikon F2.8, but the Sigma may be a good compromise. The Nikon F4 gets some great reviews, but will it do anything that my current Sigma 150-500 doesn't? Food for thought! Anyway, this post was supposed to be a hello, so I'll stop wittering, Hello from Heysham!!
  2. Welcome to the forums TomDullage :)
