I like the first one of the fern, but agree with Paul and Mark on the last one. -
Looks exactly the type of place you wouldn't want to end up in. Good shots which catch the mood well.

Decided to get up at the normal alarm time on a Saturday morning to take some photos in the morning light and possible catch some early morning mist. A quick drive down to the Basingstoke Canal at Odiham for a walk along the canal side.

That Leyland certainly has some patina showing. Which I think the B&W certainly suits. Great photos.

Very good photos.
-
Yes it does as it is a cream colour body, so shows up well.

Great shots there Geoff, I like the reflections in the first one. I imagine the only time in service it looked that good was when it was first delivered

Myself, Hazel, our son Chris and his partner Lynsey made the short trip to Windsor this afternoon to pay our respects to Queen Elizabeth. There was a que but it didn't take that long to wind our way down and back up to the Long Walk where the tribute flowers were laid. There were 3 areas for flowers, one set back and 1 either side of the main gates. Flowers are collected up and distributed inside the grounds. A very moving experience to witness and we are glad we all went. The armed Police were very friendly and allowed photos to be taken with them which put a smile on the faces of everyone.

These were just some shots that I wanted to take the other evening. This is our sons Fender Stratocaster which hasn't been played for probably 15 years. Which explains dome of the dust!! I showed him these earlier and he went, that's mine isn't it.

Looks much better without those lines Mark.

Hi Ryebear. Use photography as a means to get out and about. Its good that you used your mums old walker to assist in getting around the steam fair. Build yourself up to going for longer trips and you will be much better off, both mentally and physically. Andy

That was worth the pain to get those shoots. A great set there.

Great photos Mark. Like No.1 with the low angle on the points.
-
That certainly looks like one relaxed cat. Glad to read you are recovering well. Look forward to seeing more photo on the forum.

I don't mind being runner up to that image. Well done

Thank you. You don't normally get the opportunity to be at the same height to see the details.

Right, We have one or two, boxes with old slides and negatives in and we would like to transfer them to digital. The old sentimental ones like holidays, particular lyrics the ones of our two trips to Australia, as I remember we had some developed in a small town along highway 1 and the owner said I. An tell these were taken on a good camera, this was my Nikon F90S which I loved using, also son when he was young, some other family photos etc. Anyone used one of the many makes of copier around and can make some recommendations?

That's very good, like that a lot. Will have to set the alarm on the weekends now, as we approach the winter months.

Good action shot. The angle makes it seem like quite a gradient, for quality small saddle tank to tackle.
-
Interesting and mixed set there Rye. It amazing what can make a good photo.
-
Better make that 3 of us then. I've taken so very different views of trains and their machinery. Good shot Mark too. Whilst working out in the gym this evening I was looking at the equipment and thinking that would work as a photo.

Sadly not Paul. Should really try and take it with me bit it sits in one of the display cabinets.
