  1. Thanks for the comments, everyone.
  2. Oh... I wasn't expecting that! Thank you very much.
  3. Two from Polperro and one from Mevagissey...
  4. Well done, Geoff. Trains do always seem to suit the monochrome treatment.
  5. It's my turn to choose the POTW again. There were plenty to pick from this week, including the usual insect macros from Paul and some interesting drone shots from khm. In the end I managed to narrow it down to two, before picking a favourite, so.... Honourable mention to khm for Buck-stones view. But my pick for this week is "And I Thought it was a Candid" by Fuji: I love the look on this lady's face as she realises she's being photographed. Well done Fuji! Full thread here.
  6. It's my turn to pick the POTW again. Plenty to choose from this week so... Honourable mentions go to: Fogey for Harvest Mice Lez325 for The Small Killer But my choice for POTW is this stunning capture of a resting bee by Paul: Full thread here. Well done Paul! Gareth
  7. Nice.... all my shots of that have loads of people walking to/from the mount. That's what you get for visiting as a tourist, I guess! Great sky too!
  8. Great choice - congratulations, Strav!
  9. You've made me feel "homesick" for Cornwall again, Matt. I think #1 has the most pleasing composition.
  10. Very nice, John. The position of the head in the first one is perfect.
  11. Wow... I describe your "Four Spot Chaser" shot as superb... then I go to the next post and you have a better one! The dewdrop in the background really adds to this - excellent shot!
  12. It's my turn to choose POTW again. There were plenty to choose from this week, but I thought there was one standout image: WW2 by Lez325: Les also posted a colour version of this but it's the monochrome one that I really like. See both versions HERE.
  13. #4 for me too - I like the line of posts pointing towards the lighthouse. (It is a lighthouse isn't it?)
  14. Wow! Was this one of a burst of shots?
  15. Excellent - the colour of the feathers goes well with the reflected colours in the water too.
