  1. Merry Christmas, everyone! Gareth
  2. Congratulations, Paul!
  3. Belated congratulations, Strav!
  4. Congratulations, Denis!
  5. My turn for POTW again... As usual, there have been some splendid images to choose from this week and honourable mentions go to: Clicker for Ancient Stone and Black Pearl for Breaking Dawn. But the stand-out image of the week for me was this one by Ryewolf: Well done, Geoff! Original thread here. Gareth
  6. (Belated) Congratulations, Craig!
  7. Congratulations, Geoff!
  8. It's my turn to pick POTW. As usual, plenty of good images to choose from but my choices this weeks are: Honorable mentions to: Fuji for "I Wish She Woundn't Stare" - a great example of spotting something and having the vision to create a striking image. Bill for "A Conversation in the Shadows" - a wonderful piece of monochrome night photography. And this week's winner is "Rainbow Bee Eaters" by CMunzel. Well done, Cheryl - a splendid (and colourful) capture of these wonderful birds in flight. Original thread here. Gareth

    Hello

Hello, Jeff - we meet again! Welcome to TIPF. Gareth
  10. My turn for POTW again... As usual, there have been some splendid images to choose from this week and honourable mentions go to: Rybear for Cenarth Falls and Fuji for Spitfire. But the stand-out image of the week for me was this one by Clicker: Well done, Polly! Original thread here. Gareth
  11. Thanks, Polly. I have to thank my wife for spotting it & calling me out to look!
  12. Found in a tree in our garden... I think it's a Southern Hawker, but I'm happy to be corrected! Canon EOS60D, Tamron 70-300 lens at 175mm, 1/60 @ F11, ISO400. It was probably around 6 feet away. This was the best of 13 shots - it was difficult to get it all in focus!
  13. Great choice, Simon. Congratulations, Fuji! Gareth
  14. It's my turn to choose the POTW again and I'm very torn between two images. However, a decision has to be made, so with a very close 2nd place, we have Clicker's Roses aren't always red. And my choice for POTW is Ingleborough Sunset by Ryewolf: Well done, Geoff! Original thread is here. Gareth
  15. My turn for POTW again... I was very torn between two images this week, but I've managed to decide: The runner up is that amazing sky in Rybear's Bucket List Moment thread. But this week's winner has to be "Zip It" by ColinB: I loved the imagination and creativity involved in this one - well done Colin! Full thread here. Gareth

    1st Trip out

That last one's a cracker, Denis!
  17. Great choice - congratulations, Paul!
  18. That's the one I'd have picked too, Paul. Congratulations, BP!
  19. (Belated) congratulations from me too, John!
