Light Trails

Recommended Posts

i like light trails. i would like to have a go at it, but i would have to drive to the m11 and i dont fancy standing there on me ownesome.

As it is dark at 5.00 at night, plus the traffic numbers are higher, I think you would be safe enough for a couple of shots Annie. Even the Haverhill bypass would be dark and busy enough, especially up on the side of one of the embankments

Looks like its all kicking off in Middlesbrough!

What were they? fire, ambulance or the police? very lucky to have caught the flashing blues. I see they have come out as dashes rather than a full line, great effect!

The one with the moon was about 2 minutes, the one with the police cars about 40 seconds.

A police car came past just after I finished an earlier shot and I thought that it should work well, but I'd missed my chance. Glanced behind me as I got ready to pack up a bit later, and 3 of them were coming down the road, so pure luck

I did one out in north northumberland once that was just a single car straight into the distance, very long exposure and looked really quite good - taken on film and sadly lost over time, unfortunately
