Winter Trees

Wasn't expecting to get out for a walk at weekend, but stuff happened, things changed and so off we went for a ramble in central Lancashire.

All shot on a Fuji X10 and dibbled in PhotoShop - I've tried to give them all a feel of Winter.

Thank you all for the comments and likes.

Martyn - My weekly project simply ran out of steam, it was becoming a chore and so I let it slide.

Phil has set up a blog for me called Korky's Karousel and I hope to start that shortly. I have a few ideas for the way I want it to go, but as I always lean toward the bone idle, it may be a week or two yet!

Not often a thread resurfaces like this - thanks everyone for the comments and likes. Appreciated as always.

My favourite is number 3, it was just the kind of morning that comes across in this image: quiet, cold, bleak, a featureless sky and a dusting of frost. A great morning to be out with a camera.

wonderful series, but the third one really hits the mark for me.  desolate and cold, the image screams winter.  post processing really works on that one as well.  the large amount of negative space helps with the desolate feeling.
