With a new camera sat at home and working far too much to get out and use it I'm slowly losing the will :(

Anyway, still resorting to going through old files. This was taken a year or so back with the old 7D, ISO6400.

Cracking picture. The natural diagonal helps bring the eye to 'the eye' and those teeth!

I know what you mean about not being able to get out and about. A few months ago, I would have got stressed out and put the gear away but now I just watch photo videos, look at pictures, read blogs and listen to podcasts. The time to get out with the camera will come when it comes and I will be ready :-)

Very nice capture, nice and sharp... like those teeth.  When I was in the Amazon I went out in a canoe with local people to see Black Caiman (similar to Crocodiles) hunting, unfortunately no photos as they come out at night and you have to spot them with a big light. Quite interesting sitting in a canoe about 30 feet from one, good job the guides knew what they were doing... :yes
