With a new camera sat at home and working far too much to get out and use it I'm slowly losing the will

 

Anyway, still resorting to going through old files. This was taken a year or so back with the old 7D, ISO6400.

I have enhanced the eye somewhat, but the body is as shot.

Cracking picture. The natural diagonal helps bring the eye to 'the eye' and those teeth!

I know what you mean about not being able to get out and about. A few months ago, I would have got stressed out and put the gear away but now I just watch photo videos, look at pictures, read blogs and listen to podcasts. The time to get out with the camera will come when it comes and I will be ready :-)

Very nice capture, nice and sharp... like those teeth.  When I was in the Amazon I went out in a canoe with local people to see Black Caiman (similar to Crocodiles) hunting, unfortunately no photos as they come out at night and you have to spot them with a big light. Quite interesting sitting in a canoe about 30 feet from one, good job the guides knew what they were doing...
