This is the tomb of Joseph Bonaparte, elder brother to Napoleon. This is also inside the Dome des Invalides where Napoleon Bonaparte lies.

I am in my favourite zone with this type of image. Architecture (and then landscapes) is my favourite type of photography.

I've come back to this 3 or 4 times now - I just love the composition and the colours and the processing.

 

The image has a lovely calm quality about it, but I suppose a tomb should be calm, shouldn't it?

Thank you. The way this place lights up is nice for photography. This "room" has an abundance of colourful glass windows that allows a lot of light to enter and flood the area.

Thank you Korky. It is a calm and peaceful spot to visit. The Dome de Invalides has to be one of my favourite buildings.
