  1. I've googled this man. Some of his images are just wonderful. The surfing shots especially. These just don't hit my spot I suppose. But then I'm known for weird taste.....................
  2. That's what I see! They look as though they are made of stone. That's better than 'gritty'. Although number two is nice. Looks more natural than the others.
  3. I love the sea. The rougher the better. But I don't like these images. For me they are too gritty looking.
  4. Such a shock under those circumstances. She knew she was loved though, I'm sure. {{{{{ }}}}}
  5. Not a selfie but here's me!!!
  6. Oh my goodness how wonderful.

    Do you ever go to BTCC events Leon?
  9. |Thank You Leon. I fiddled about with one of the other pics using Pixlr, but I wasn't taken with the end result
  10. I was at a Christmas collection for our charity yesterday. It was a fabulous, sunny day and I got a lot of pics which which I was happy. Around 3pm the sun started to get low and was still very dazzling. I had gone inside the store to take a pic of Isaac. The sun was hitting his coat and it was dazzling. My shot of him is accurate in that he did look very bleached out in the sunshine. But it doesn't make for a good pic does it? How should I have tackled this? My settings were f5.6 1/40 with an ISO of 200. I know that I should have used ISO 100 which may have helped. Should I have closed down the aperture? What else could I have done? Your advice would be welcomed please.
