just in case any of you are thinking that me and her are strangely quiet. Some of you know and others don't that late on 25th October my Father had a massive heart attack and died sometime around midnight. His funeral is tomorrow and the last two and a bit weeks have been some what strange / surreal / sad / just plain weird. I'm not posting this to get sympathy just to explain why we have been so quiet for the last couple of weeks. Heather has been truly amazing, letting me rant when I need too and doing everything to make sure I'm ok despite her having lost someone she looked upon as a father as she lost her dad before we met.

Tomorrow I say Goodbye to my childhood hero & my life long friend. rest in peace Dad We'll see you when the time is right.

We hope that you find solace in the fact that we are all thinking of you in this difficult time Richard. I knew what had happened and it just brought it home to me that one day I'll lose my Dad one day; he, like your's is to you, is my hero and my best friend and I dread the day.

All the best mate.

Our condolences to the both of you during this sad time.

The only help (if that is the right word) is to talk about him and remember the good times, I am lucky to have an older brother and sister to ‘remember’ with.
