Lovely view. It makes me want to walk up there.

If anyone wants to come with me sometime just let me know, obviously it needs to be a nice day during a settled spell of weather.

Having a favourite place to walk is like talking to a close friend when you need one. There are one or two places I walk where I can clear my head and return home really refreshed.

They also provide some cracking good photographs. You are fortunate to have such a place on your doorstep John.

Up there last evening until nearly 9pm and back again at 9.30am this morning... not too far from where I was yesterday. Perhaps I should take a tent... Nah.. not been camping since my last trip to the TT races in 1982, I like my bed these days.

Nice, but I do wish sometime you would also take some from "ground level", showing how they rise up so dramatically and sharply?

Maybe I will one day just for you... trouble is I just like to have my head in the clouds... that says everything about my character... :yes

Lovely John, such a beautiful place to have close enough to be able to visit when you like, no wonder you love this place. I love walking anywhere quiet and peaceful like this, it's just so tranquil. Is it a good place for sunsets?

Annie... I was up there until the sun disappeared below the horizon on Sunday evening, unfortunately the sunset was a bit disappointing. I haven't been up there at that time in the evening very often, I will try and do it more often.

Here's a shot taken on Sunday.
